Injection molded pallets vs. blow molded pallets: which one is better for your product?

With the development of logistics industry, pallet has become a necessary logistics packaging tool. In the production process of pallets, injection molding and blow molding are two common processes. So, which one is more 

suitable for your products, injection molding pallet or blow molding pallet?

First, let's understand the difference between injection molded pallets and blow molded pallets. An injection molded pallet is made by heating and melting plastic particles and injecting them into a mold to form a pallet after 

cooling; while a blow molded pallet is made by heating and melting plastic particles and injecting them into a mold, then blowing the plastic into a molded shape through air pressure, and finally cooling it to form the pallet.

In terms of production process, injection molded pallets are usually suitable for mass production, while blow molded pallets are suitable for small batch production. Injection molded pallets are faster, more efficient and 

can be produced in larger sizes. Blow molded pallets can be produced in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors according to different needs.

Secondly, there are differences between injection molded pallets and blow molded pallets in use. Injection molded pallets are generally more robust and can withstand greater weight and impact, and are suitable for the 

transportation and storage of heavy items. Blow molded pallets, on the other hand, are lighter, easier to handle and stack, and are suitable for the transportation and storage of light items.

Finally, cost is also an important consideration in choosing between injection molded or blow molded pallets. Injection-molded pallets are more expensive to produce, but they also have higher durability and load-bearing capacity, 

which can reduce logistics losses and transportation costs. Blow-molded pallets, on the other hand, have lower production costs and are suitable for small-scale production and short-term use.

1. Advantages and disadvantages of blow molding pallets.

(1) Advantages: The blow-molded pallets has better load-bearing, strong impact resistance, and good adaptability to harsh environments such as low temperature.

(2) Disadvantages: No built-in steel pipe, not easy to put on the shelf, and less product types.

2. Advantages and disadvantages of injection molding pallets.

(1) Advantages: Injection pallets are ordinary plastic pallets, which have the advantages of light weight, moisture-proof and anti-corrosion, and are suitable for a variety of mechanical equipment.

(2) Disadvantages: The impact resistance is weak, and the load-bearing performance is different from that of the blow-molded pallets. 

In general, the two types of plastic pallets have their own advantages and disadvantages, and the selection is mainly based on the environmental industry used.
