Plastic pallet molding is also known as plastic pallet compression molding. It is to first put the powder and granular plastic into the molding die. Plastic tray molding process:
a. Preheating and preloading. The plastic powder, particles and fibers are preheated, one is to shorten the molding cycle. The second is to dry the moisture in the plastic. Pre-pressing is to press the loose raw materials into plastic blanks of certain quality and shape, in order to facilitate putting into the mold.
b. Feeding. Put the plastic material into the open mold.
c. Clamping. The mold is closed while heat and pressure are applied to melt the plastic and fill the cavity.
d. Demoulding. After the plastic part is hardened and formed, the plastic part is pulled out.
Advantages: less waste of raw materials, can form larger plastic trays and other plastic products, low cost, uniform product texture, small shrinkage, suitable for mass production of small and medium-sized products, and can be added with reinforcing materials to mold composite materials.
Disadvantages: long molding cycle, low efficiency, low molding accuracy, not suitable for plastic pallet products with concave holes and side slopes, and plastic pallets need manual removal of flash.
